When I go out looking for a specific subject, in this case the Great Egret that’s still hanging around this small pond, it’s easy to focus too much on “the star of the show”. I have to keep reminding myself to stay aware because there’s usually other photo opportunities that are easy to miss if I’m not paying attention.
