I was watching this female falcon for quite some time through the viewfinder along with six or seven other photographers. It had been an overcast morning and I noticed the light starting to change. The sun was suddenly hitting her pretty hard calling for faster shutter speeds in order to preserve the highlights. This underexposed the background which was the cliff face covered in green from the previous rains. The light then started to fade just as she flew off (in the wrong direction) to another perch about 100 yards away. I lowered my camera and turned around to see that I was all alone. Then I saw the wall of rain starting to blow in off the coast that sent everyone running for cover. I made my way down to the other perch to grab a few shots and then left her to sit out the rain.
