29 degrees this morning when I put in at sunrise. Being that this spot along the Niagara River is a key migration stop off point I was curious to see if anything out of the ordinary might be on the water. It was good to see that the Osprey pair have returned and are nesting, but aside from a bunch of Red-breasted and Hooded Mergansers that wouldn’t let me within shooting range, not much else going on.
