Left the house at 4:30 AM and arrived in Syracuse at sunrise mainly to photograph Bald Eagles. Unfortunately the lake was pretty well frozen over so any activity was limited to small open pockets of water too far away from shore for good photographs. I spent about six hours that day along the shoreline, temps in the mid teens. Spent the night in Syracuse and headed back to the shoreline the next day.
