It’s not always easy to stop when you think you see something interesting along the highway. You’re usually in a rush to get someplace else, maybe you’ve just passed that obnoxiously slow moving car you’ve been following for three miles and there’s no way you’re getting back in that line. Or maybe you just convince yourself that it’s probably not worth the stop anyways so you just keep chugging along to the next place that may not be all that interesting either. But once in a while something compels you to pull over, even turn around, and you capture a bit of a vanishing landscape which can then live on, taking on a new life, if only in a tiny frame.
