This is a view of downtown Los Angeles from Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area. The snow-capped mountains were the attraction for myself and two photographer friends. We arrived around 4:30 PM and waited for the sun to just about set behind us and provide the kiss of golden light shimmering off the buildings and mountaintops. Three minutes later and those accents are gone and everything goes flat.
