This is a male Peregrine Falcon transferring a kill to the female on the coast in San Pedro, CA . In the first photo you can see the band on the male’s leg and also the size disparity. Female Peregrines are much larger than the males. After she caught the meal she landed on the cliff face almost directly in front of me.
