You never know how tolerant a specific subject will be to your presence. Every animal has it’s own personality. When I spotted this Great Egret from my kayak at Beaver Island State Park I was on the other side of the lagoon. So as I approached I took a few shots from a distance just in case he/she decided to fly away. As I made my way closer floating in it appeared the bird really didn’t seem to mind me at all on this morning.
