Only one Osprey left at the nest. Best I can tell the others have moved on or possibly haven’t survived. Most likely just headed south to Florida or Costa Rica. A couple of Great Blue Herons and a lone Great Egret. One very shy Green Heron that wouldn’t let me within 100 yards and a Beaver stocking up on willow branches. And of course the ever present Canada goose. I’ll be heading back to California soon to assist with family matters and this lagoon will be freezing over before you know it.
