In 1965 Bob Dylan wrote “Farewell Angelina”. The last verse reads; “farewell Angelina, the sky is erupting, I must go where it’s quiet”. Some time thereafter, another artist, possibly Joan Baez, recorded her version, took some artistic liberties and slightly changed the lines to read;
“Farewell Angelina, the sky is on fire, I must go where it’s quiet”.
With all due respect to the original author, I always preferred the second version.

I can recall having a conversation awhile back and talking about how much I loved the desert. ” Why ? There’s nothing there”, was the response. Exactly.
