Spring Invasion

March 29th, 2020 Sitting in my hide in the backyard this morning and found the feeders have been taken over by Grackles and Starlings. They’re even scaring off my Red-bellied Woodpecker which usually holds it’s own against any of the other feeder birds. Certainly not the prettiest bird, but these common pests really are quite beautiful when the light shows off their subtle coloring.
